In addition to lameness services, Bella Vista Equine also provides general veterinary services at the clinic facility and in the field on-farm. We perform routine on-farm calls in the greater Columbus, Ohio area. All veterinarians are equipped to diagnose and manage conditions of different medicine specialties, such as ophthalmology, gastroenterology, endocrine disorders, and infectious conditions. Bella Vista is equipped with a Portascope endoscope, capable of examining the upper GI tract, upper respiratory tract and guttural pouches.  All veterinarians are equipped to measure inflammatory markers stall-side, as well as utilizing local laboratories to diagnose and manage medical cases. Ultrasound for assessing soft tissue stuctures is also readily available, and is utilized for abdominal assessment and ultrasound-guided biopsies.
