Various diagnostic imaging modalities are utilized at Bella Vista Equine.  Vet trucks are equipped with ultrasound, wireless digital radiography, and Portascope endoscopy.  All radiographs taken are immediately available for review, as well as uploaded to the cloud after each exam to be reviewed by board-certified radiologists.  Ultrasound capabilities allow examination of tendons, ligaments, and muscles for aid in lameness diagnosis.  Other ultrasound capabilities include reproductive evaluation, abdominal evaluation, and ultrasound-guided procedures, such as arthrocentesis and biopsies.  Our endoscope is capable of evaluating the upper GI tract as well as the upper airway, including the guttural pouches.  All diagnostics are available for use in the field.
